| Terms and Conditions About the Business We are a small business producing miniatures for dollshouses and miniature collectors. Everything you see on the website is made by Steven (my husband) and myself. We are based in Hertfordshire and sell our products through Dolls House Fairs up and down the Country. Products The products on our website are not toys, they are fragile items and are not suitable for young children. We make every effort to ensure that our products are accurately described by both text and photographs. Please note however that some slight differences may occur during the making process, as each piece is produced and individually painted by hand. Ordering By ordering goods, you are agreeing to pay us the full amount for the goods. Our obligation to send the goods to you begins when we receive your payment in full. In some cases goods will be in stock and orders will sent out within 1-5 working days of ordering. However if you are purchasing ceramics, and the item needs to be made then your order will be sent out within 7-21 days of ordering. All furniture items are made to order and the time scale for delivery is between 4-6 weeks from ordering. In exceptional circumstances we may cancel an order and return payment if we have good reason, or if we suspect an order may be fraudulent or otherwise illegal. Trade Orders If you would like to order for Trade, please contact me to qualify, I will then issue a trade password. I offer a 20% discount. Please note not all items on my website are legible for discount (ie. Furniture, hand modelled Teapots, hand made Majolica, Personalised ware and Teasets.) Delivery of stock will depend on the size of the order, I will email the customer with the expected delivery date. Payment (i) UK Customers You may make an online payment through the checkout secure server. We accept all major credit/debit cards. You are welcome to send a cheque or make payment over the telephone, all these options will be made available to you in the checkout section. (ii) International (non-UK) Customers You can use the currency convertor and make payments through checkout on the secure server. We accept Major credit/debit cards (ie. American Express, Visa, Mastercard). Please note that all payments will be processed in Sterling and this may inccur an additional charge by credit card issuers. VAT All prices are exclusive of VAT. We are not VAT registered so our rate is set at 0%. Security When you make an electronic payment on our website through checkout, your data is encrypted by a 128kbit Secure Server. You can identify a secure checkout by either a padlock icon in the bottom right corner of your browser and by the https:// in the address bar. The 's' in https denotes that the web page you are using is secure. Data & Privacy When you place an order with us, you will need to provide us with personal information (ie. Name, Address etc.) so that we can despatch your order to you, contact you etc. We take protection of your privacy and data seriously and will not pass on your details to any third party. Supply We aim to despatch your order to you as soon as possible.If an item is not readily available then we will let you know by email once order has been placed. You are welcome to contact us whenever you need to check the status of an order. Deliveries (i) Deliveries in the UK For deliveries within the UK we will dispatch parcels by Royal Mail - 1st class packet post or Recorded delivery, either option must be selected in checkout. (ii) Deliveries outside UK For deliveries to Europe please select either 1st class packet post or Airsure, either option must be selected in the checkout and Airsure requires a signature by the customer. Deliveries to USA and rest of the World will be dispatched by Royal Mails 1st class packet post or by Airsure, either option must be selected in the checkout. Trade deliveries need to be sent using the options in the checkout. Deliveries to UK & Europe will be sent using Royal Mails Special delivery or Airsure to Europe both of which will require a signature. Deliveries to the USA and rest of the World will be sent via Airsure and will also require a signature on delivery. Delivery Rates UK 1st class packet post £2.50 UK 1st class Recorded, signed for £3.95 Europe & World 1st class packet post £3.95 Europe Airsure, signed for £6.50 USA & World Airsure, signed for £8.00 Trade UK Special Delivery, signed for £6.50 Trade Europe Airsure, signed for £6.50 Trade USA & World, signed for £8.00 Please note that there maybe an additional delivery charge to some of the larger furniture items. Delivery times on orders will depend upon the performance of the mail courier and it is something over which we have no influence over. Returns In the unlikely event of goods being damaged or lost in transit, we will replace item(s). We will not accept returns of items that have been specially ordered unless they have been damaged in transit. If you have changed your mind about an order please contact us within 7 days on receipt of it. Please return it in its original packaging. On receipt of the returned item we shall either offer an exchange or full refund. Where a refund is issued we aim to make the refund within 7 working days. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment or by cheque. This will not affect your statutory rights. « Back |
