A 1/12th scale model of a Posset Pot, hand painted in blue and white. Slipcast from my own mould using an earthenware based clay. Posset was a mixture of hot milk and alcohol, and was used in the 18th century as a delicacy and a remedy for colds. The posset was then drunk using the long tube at the front of the pot.
