A 1/12th scale model of a Staffordshire Spill Vase. Hand painted and cast from my own mould. The spill vase would have been placed on a fireplace mantle to hold rolled paper tapers (spills) to light the fire or stove. This one is based on an 1850's version and depicts a Leopard sitting against a tree.
- Gold lustre around base
- c.1850
